Water Damage Service Area in Apple Valley, CA
Dispatch covers Apple Valley and the nearby High Desert cities of Victorville, Hesperia and Adelanto, with ZIP codes listed for each.
Apple Valley
Apple Valley is a town in San Bernardino County with a population of about 75,000. The Mojave River borders it on the west side, State Route 18 runs through it as Happy Trails Highway, and Bear Valley Road is a major east-west route. St. Mary Regional Medical Center serves the town, and dispatchers use these landmarks to place an address quickly.
Apple Valley uses two standard ZIP codes, 92307 and 92308, with the 92308 ZIP also known as Jess Ranch. Our address on Highway 18 is in the 92307 ZIP. Crews are sent from this base across both ZIP codes for water mitigation, water damage cleanup and repair.
Nearby High Desert cities
Victorville, Hesperia and Adelanto each have their own water systems, building departments and local rules. A page for each explains what is different, so you know who to call about utilities and permits.
| City | ZIP codes | Direction from Apple Valley |
|---|---|---|
| Victorville | 92392, 92394, 92395 | West, across the Mojave River |
| Hesperia | 92345, 92344 | Southwest |
| Adelanto | 92301 | Northwest, through Victorville |
Each city page has its own map, ZIP list and notes on utilities, so you can confirm the dispatch area before you call.
Travel time grows with distance and traffic on the roads between the cities. Victorville is the closest of the three to our Highway 18 base, and Adelanto is reached through Victorville, so a call to Adelanto involves the longest route. We tell you honestly what to expect when you call, and the dispatcher explains what to do while the crew is on the way.
Other communities within reach
Dispatch also reaches several smaller communities on request. Lucerne Valley uses ZIP 92356. Phelan uses ZIP 92371 and Pinon Hills uses ZIP 92372, and both are near Hesperia. Spring Valley Lake is a community within Victorville that uses ZIP 92395.
These places do not have separate pages. If you live in one of them, call the line and give the dispatcher your street and ZIP so the route can be planned.
Utilities and permits differ by city
The four places we serve do not share the same utilities or building departments, and the difference matters in an emergency. In Apple Valley, the Town of Apple Valley utilities element names Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company as the primary water provider, with Golden State Water serving a smaller area. The Town runs the local sewer collection system, and about 30 percent of development is on the sewer, with the rest on septic.
Victorville runs its own Water Department, with pages for water supply, water quality, wastewater treatment and recycled water. Hesperia has the Hesperia Water District. Adelanto operates its own water and wastewater service through the City Water Department and the Public Utilities Authority, and a contractor named PERC Water Corporation operates its treatment plant and responds to sewage spills.
Permits for rebuild work follow the same split. Each city sets its own rules, and the Town of Apple Valley Building and Safety Division handles plan review and inspections for projects inside the Town. Ask the city that covers your address before work goes beyond drywall and surface finishes.

How the service area is worked out
The map on this page shows the coverage area around Apple Valley. Distances and drive times depend on traffic and routes, so we do not promise an arrival time. A crew is sent the same day when one is available, and the dispatcher tells you what to do while you wait.
If your address is outside these areas, call anyway. We can often tell you whether a crew can reach you or point you in the right direction.

- Your street address and ZIP code
