Which service do you need?

Water damage is a chain of jobs, and each one has its own page. The service you need depends on what is happening right now. If water is on the floor, you are in the extraction stage. If everything is pumped out but the walls are wet, you are in the drying stage. If the structure is dry and something needs to be rebuilt, you are in the repair stage.

How the services fit together

Most jobs use more than one service in a set order. Extraction comes first, then mitigation and drying, then cleanup, then repair. Keeping the stages separate matters for your insurance file because each stage has its own photos, readings and invoice.

Mold is the exception. It can appear days or weeks after a loss and it can be the very first reason someone calls. In that case, the service starts with an inspection and the moisture source, and the order of the other services follows from what we find.

Emergency services run on the same line

The emergency line is open 24/7, so you do not need to pick the right service before you call. Tell the dispatcher what happened and what the water has reached. We explain the scope and price before work starts, and the dispatcher will tell you what to shut off and what to avoid while a crew is arranged.

A crew is sent the same day when one is available. We do not promise an arrival time because it depends on crew availability and where you are located.

When to call right away

Call right away when water is moving, when it has touched electrical equipment, when it came from a drain or toilet, or when a ceiling is sagging. Waiting seldom saves money, because wet drywall, pad and framing keep absorbing water, and the scope grows with each hour.

If the situation is quieter, such as a stain that has not changed in weeks or a smell you cannot trace, you can still call and ask for an assessment. The right first step is often a moisture reading, not a repair.

What we do not do

Honest limits help you choose well. We do not install drainage, waterproofing or foundation systems, and we do not rent drying equipment on its own. If the problem behind the water is a roof, a grading issue or a failed pipe, the right trade fixes that, and we will tell you so.

We also do not approve insurance claims or promise outcomes. Your insurer decides coverage. Sudden and accidental water damage is often covered, gradual leaks and neglect often are not, and flood is usually excluded from standard policies. Check your policy and ask your insurer.

Standards we follow

The published industry standards are ANSI/IICRC S500 for professional water damage restoration and ANSI/IICRC S520 for professional mold remediation. It is a good habit to ask any company you hire whether its crews work to these standards and what documentation you will receive.

Documentation means moisture readings at the start and at each visit, photos of the damage and a written scope of work. That package supports your insurance file and shows you the structure was dried to the standard before it was closed up.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to call separately for each service?

No. One call starts the job, and the stages follow in order as the situation requires.

Can I hire you only for the repair?

Repair can start once the structure reads dry. We will check the readings first and explain what is needed before work begins.

Is mold remediation included in water damage restoration?

It is a separate service because it needs its own inspection and containment. It often follows a water loss when materials stayed wet.
